Launched in the fall of 2007, KidVideos is an Internet destination where kids (and parents and grandparents) can watch, share, upload and comment on video entertainment. The parent company, Santa Monica Digital Media, Inc, was established in 2007 to develop and operate leading-edge, creative and immersive Internet sites targeted at kids, tweens and teens. The Company was formed and is owned by PorchLight Entertainment, Inc., one of the leading independent children’s entertainment companies in the world; Global Rights Fund II, a private investment fund managed by Beringea LLC; and by Bruce Johnson and William Baumann, co-founders and the President & CEO and President & COO, respectively, of PorchLight Entertainment.
